Description
Spew Remover is suitable for all types of leather, except nubuck and suede. It solves a problem unique to leather. Occasionally, fat liquors used in the tanning process or natural animal fat can migrate to the surface, leaving a white film known as spew. This film can be wiped away, but will reappear. Spew Remover displaces the film and penetrates into the leather to prevent a recurrence.
Pre-Test: White film is the result of spew when it dissolves in contact with heat. A professional heat gun or a hairdryer may be used to heat the area for this test. Try the product on a discrete area to be sure there is no loss of color or darkening after drying. Do not use it if you are unsatisfied with the test. Shake well before use.
Directions: Dampen a soft cloth with Spew Remover and gently rub the area to be treated. Refold the cloth frequently to ensure you always use a clean area. After 24 hours, repeat the process if marks or spew stains re-appear.
NOTE: We recommend professional dry cleaning to safely and permanently remove spew from nubuck and suede.
