LEATHER & TEXTILE DEGREASER e ectively removes accumulated or saturated oil stains from leather. Over time, oils from hair or skin can be absorbed by leather and leave a stain. Oil-based stains wick into the leather and saturate into the back side of the hide. This often appears as a darkening e ect in the contact areas.<\/p>\n

Leather & Textile Degreaser removes these stains safely and e ectively. Leather & Textile Degreaser is formulated to penetrate into leather, absorb the stain, and lift it into an easily manageable powder. For heavily stained areas, an additional application may be needed. If possible, direct application to the back side is most e ective at removing heavy stains.<\/p>\n

Grease is the major cause of dramatic leather deterioration. Degreasing is often the first step in the complete, professional restoration of leather. Consistent use of Leather Protector will keep grease out to ensure your leather looks great for a long, long time.<\/p>\n

Remove any residual powder using a soft-tipped vacuum cleaner, followed by a dry sponge. Some spots may require multiple applications. We recommend repeating until you see the powder dry to a snowy white (yellow means lots of oil remains). Clean the leather with the appropriate cleanser, using a sponge to remove residual powder. After treatment, protect the leather with the appropriate protector to keep grease out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Pre-Test: <\/b>Apply to a hidden area to see if the leather is colorfast. If the product removes color from the surface, discontinue use.<\/p>\n

Directions: <\/b>Cover the areas that are not to be treated. Grease expands under the surface, so leave about 50% more of the visible dark area uncovered \u2013 you\u2019re only seeing the tip of the iceberg! Shake can thoroughly. Hold the can upright and 15-20 cm (6 to 8 inches) from the spot. Press the valve button fully. Spray heavily enough to saturate the spot. Immediately clean the valve by turning the can upside down and spraying until only air is coming out. Let Leather & Textile Degreaser dry completely for at least 4 hours (overnight is recommended). Do not use a heat source, or you will inhibit the degreasing action. Always work in well-ventilated areas.<\/p>\n

Contains: Hydrocarbons, C7-C9, isoalkanes. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read label before use. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid release to the environment. Store locked up. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 \u00b0C\/122\u00b0F.
