Repairing Aniline Leather
Select the type of issue to be solved from the menu to find advice from Fenice experts and products most suited to the task.
With all leather-care products, remember to shake the bottle well before use (particularly in the case of pigments and dyes) and test all products on a hidden area before use.
Grease - Oil
- Clean with our Leather Cleaner
- Spray on our Leather & Textile Degreaser, then let rest for at least four hours.
- Vacuum up the powder, then remove any remaining residue with a dry sponge
- Clean again with our Leather Cleaner
- Protect the leather with Leather Protect
Mold
- Clean with our Leather Cleaner and let dry
- Apply Mold Remover to a cloth and delicately rub the area to be treated.
- Repeat after 24 hours if necessary.
- Clean again using Leather Cleaner to remove any residue of Mold Remover.
- Apply Leather Protector with a cloth and rub lightly in circular motions.
- Leave to dry and buff with a cloth if desired
Spew
- Clean with our Leather Cleaner
- Apply Spew Remover to a cloth and delicately rub the area to be treated.
- Refresh the cloth frequently and always use a clean section of the cloth.
- Let rest for 24 hours, then repeat the process if necessary.
- Apply Leather Protector with a cloth and rub lightly in circular motions.
- Let dry, then lightly buff if desired.
Discoloration
- Clean with our Leather Cleaner
- Apply Touch-Up Aniline Plus, making sure to spread the product uniformly across the surface
- Repeat application in small amounts and multiple layers, drying well between layers, until the color of the damaged area matches the rest of the leather
- Apply Leather Protector
Cracking
- Clean with our Leather Cleaner
- Apply Touch-Up for Aniline Plus, making sure to spread the product uniformly across the surface
- Repeat application in small amounts and multiple layers, drying well between layers, until the color of the damaged area matches the rest of the leather
- Protect the leather with Leather Protect
Dirt & Soil
Clean the leather with our Leather Cleaner.
Apply Leather Protector and dry.
Scratches
- Apply Scratch Remover onto a soft cotton cloth and rub the damaged area lightly until the scratch has been removed
- Dry with an electric drier in order to enhance product efficacy
- When the repaired area is completely dry, protect with Leather Protector
